Two or three sites are set up together. Tell me your permits and I'll get them on.
Everyone else on the GOV.UK list sends you a login and wishes you luck. I set up your DEFRA account with you, register your organisation's Government Gateway, load your waste streams and EWC codes, and sit on a screen share while you log your first loads. Included, not extra.
More than three sites? Get in touch — I'd start you on two or three and prove it on your own gates first. DEFRA charge £26 a year per organisation, not per site, so each company you run needs registering separately. Cancel any time and I'll export everything you've recorded to a spreadsheet you keep.

No PAT exemptions
DEFRA require providers to pass 14 production approval tests, and they publish which providers hold exemptions from some of them. Two on the current list do. Byrne Waste Tracking holds none — all 14 passed, including hazardous waste scenarios. DEFRA's guidance tells you to ask providers about this. Ask everyone you're considering.
